Zachary has long been known for its focus on kids, and its citizens recently passed a $39 Million Dollar bond issue for the public school system. Copper Mill donated 15 acres of land to the Zachary school system for the construction of an elementary School nearby.

Your family will enjoy Copper Mill’s Turnberry Park, a 5 acre residential recreation area with playground equipment, a stocked fishing lake, walking trails, shaded pavilion, and more! Backyard games, neighborhood events, and corporate celebrations can be easily accommodated. We even brought in turf from LSU’s Football Practice Facility to finish out the playground!
